Post Search

Search enhancement by external offloading

ElasticProbe enhances WordPress search by replacing the default SQL-based system with Elasticsearch, which is better suited for handling large volumes of content and more complex queries. This allows for faster and more relevant search results, particularly on sites with custom post types, fields, and metadata.

The plugin supports fuzzy matching to account for minor spelling errors, variations in word forms and different verb tenses, helping users find content even if their search input isn’t exact. By indexing custom fields, taxonomies, and tags, ElasticProbe broadens the search scope and improves result accuracy without requiring significant changes to your site’s structure.

This approach provides a more efficient and flexible search experience for both site administrators and visitors.
